Marie Daniels is a violist committed to sharing the transformative power of music on stage, in the classroom and in the community. Having served as assistant principal of the Bremen Philharmonic from 2018 to 2023, she is currently a tutti violist in the Frankfurt Opera und Museum Orchestra.

In addition to her love for opera, Marie is passionate about environmental advocacy through music, helping organize concerts and events as part of Orchester des Wandels to support sustainability projects worldwide. In 2012, she founded The Woodlands ChamberFest, a week-long summer program that empowers young string players through chamber music, leadership, and collaboration. She has also worked as a Teaching Artist with the New York Philharmonic and continues to mentor students through private teaching and her YouTube series Viola Tips with Violamad.

Marie holds a Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degree from The Juilliard School. There she was a 2015 recipient of Juilliard's Benzaquen Career Advancement Grant and Juilliard Entrepreneurship Grant for demonstrating outstanding artistry and achievement in leadership, entrepreneurship, and breadth of engagement.

Additional passions include training for marathons/triathlons, baking chocolate chip cookies, and all-things-pink.
